“Glowing Hope”

Even though I did not attend many meetings about the Green Line extension, I was in attendance for one meeting when they passed out green glow rings. This meeting seemed to be rehashing old stuff that was presented already, and a long time ago. Would the extension become reality. "Glowing Hope" was created to, in some small way, "keep the dream alive".

My make-shift alter will have as an offering 300 green glow rods/rings (that will be replenished as they are taken). The viewer can take a ring to show support for the green line extension. There will be a small tag on each rod with instructions.
I hope to see the "glow" travel from one end of Somerville to the other to symbolize the connection the city will have with the new extended T.
